Attendance at one of the following mandatory workshops (11 AM - 2 PM):

Monthly Zoom Meetings: Starting in March delegates will need to join this once a month session with the Miss Idaho Board to ensure updates and preparation is top of mind.

Winners will continue their journey to compete at Miss America, where no additional registration fees are required.
Community Service Initiative:
The Miss America Community Service Initiative (CSI) is a vital component of the competition, emphasizing the "Service" aspect of the organization's four core values: Style, Scholarship, Service, and Success. It enables delegates to showcase their commitment to community engagement by developing and promoting a personal platform addressing a specific societal issue. Delegates collaborate with local or state programs or create their own initiatives, advocating for their chosen causes throughout their tenure.
As part of the competition, delegates are required to submit a one-page essay detailing their Community Service Initiative. This essay outlines their passion for the cause, reasons for selecting it, and plans for partnership with communities to drive positive change.
Eligibility Requirements:
Miss America (18-28 years old)
Must be 18 by the state competition and no older than 27 at the state competition.
Miss America’s Teen (14-18 years old)
Must be 14 by the state competition and no older than 18 at the state competition.
18-year-olds have a one-time option to compete in either Teen or Miss.
Residency Requirements:
Must fulfill one of the following:
Reside in the state of Idaho.
Be enrolled full-time in an accredited Idaho college/university.
Be employed full-time in Idaho.
Citizenship Requirement:
Must be a citizen of the United States.
Registration Process:
Miss America Opportunity Delegate Registration
Register through the Miss America Opportunity delegate portal.
Pay the $35 MAO registration fee.
State Competition Application & Registration Fee
To compete at Miss Idaho, a $475 state registration fee is required*.
Upon payment of the $150 deposit, delegates will receive a crown and local title sash.
Balance due by April 1, 2025.
American Heart Association Partnership Donation
Every delegate will need to raise a $350 donation that goes directly to the AHA. This is a state requirement across all state programs.
In November 2023, the Miss America Organization initiated a partnership with the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women initiative to promote women's heart health and reintroduce fitness components to the competition.
This collaboration involves awareness campaigns, community outreach, and fundraising efforts, with delegates nationwide sharing heart health information, advocating for healthy lifestyles, and encouraging CPR education to combat heart disease.
Balance due by June 10, 2025.

Judge’s Paperwork (Fact Sheet, Community Service Initiative Essay).
Delegate Headshot Submission (Deadline: May 1, 2025).
Talent Music Submission (If applicable, Deadline: April 1, 2025).
Ad Sales for Competition Magazine (Encouraged: $500 - $1000 raised, Deadline: May 16, 2025) These funds directly go to scholarship awards the year of the program.
Little Sister Mentoring Program (Optional, more details to come).
Medical Release Form (Closer to the competition date).
* Your 2025 membership is valid for one competition season.
