Our Mission: The Miss Idaho and Miss Idaho Teen programs are dedicated to empowering young women and teens to achieve their educational and personal goals while serving as positive role models in their communities.

OUR HISTORY
A Legacy of Empowerment: Since its inception in 1921, the Miss Idaho Organization has proudly partnered with Miss America to create opportunities for women in our state. In 2005, the Miss Idaho Teen program was introduced, expanding our mission to include teens. From scholarships to community service, our programs have been a cornerstone for leadership and growth.

Areas of Competition
The Miss Idaho competition is more than just a pageant—it’s a leadership and scholarship program that empowers young women through service, education, and personal growth. Each phase of competition reflects our core values, from talent showcasing individuality and discipline to interviews fostering confidence and communication skills, ensuring every participant leaves with lifelong benefits.
Private Interview - 30%
Participants engage in a private interview with the judges, showcasing their personality, communication skills, and knowledge of current events and social issues.
Evening Wear - 20%
Participants are evaluated on poise, confidence, and personal style while wearing evening wear of their choice.
Talent - 30%
Participants perform a 90-second talent presentation, highlighting their unique skills, creativity, and stage presence.
On Stage Question - 10%
In this segment, participants respond to a question on stage, demonstrating their ability to think quickly, communicate effectively, and express their viewpoints.
Fitness - 20%
This phase emphasizes a commitment to wellness, strength, and confidence through a choreographed fitness routine.
Community Service Initiative (Not Scored)
Participants develop and advocate for a cause they are passionate about, using their voice and platform to create meaningful change in their communities.
